Xen Enterprise

Have any one tried Xen Enterprise 4 in production? It seems great and as far the comparison on here it seems as good as VMware VI3 and it is cheaper? Any advise?

Yes, Xen is doing great when virtualizing Linux os, but they still lagging on the performance when virtualization windows. They are using different approach to virtualization than VMware. For a clear comparison of the two please check the comparison between Xen and VMware on this site at

Xen in Production.

Yes, I have actually been in touch with few companies who succeeded in implementing Xen Enterprise in their production enviornment. Yes, just as Virtualization Master said all of them were mainly running Linux. Windows either were not their concern or at least not their main OS. The Link pointed to by Virtualization Master is a good place to start. There lot of VMware vs Xen on the internet these days, but this one I believe is the most clear and fair one.
